During the weekends between Purim and Passover, the shul will host finalists in the search for our new full-time rabbi. Each weekend, from Friday through Sunday, a different candidate will lead services and teach classes for adults and families. There will also be times for more informal interactions between the congregation and the candidates, including a potluck lunch on Saturday.
Please come to as many services and events as you can. We need your feedback to help decide on the best candidate to join our WJC community.
The Search Committee and Board of Directors are still conducting interviews to determine whom to invite to Woodstock. We may not need all four weekends, but for now, please save the weekends of March 13-15, 20-22, 27-29 and April 3-5. We will let you know when we finalize the schedules.
The new full-time rabbi would start over the summer, at which time Rabbi Jonathan would reduce his hours to part-time. The new Rabbi would work closely with Rabbi Jonathan, who will continue to take part in High Holy Day services, as well as other services and activities when possible.
As always, the Search Committee welcomes your input at email@example.com.
