Ancient Practices: Modern Spirituality

According to the Talmud, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob each instituted one of the daily prayer services – shachrit, mincha, and maariv. In this class, we’ll look at the stories associated with each patriarch in order to reflect on our own spiritual practices (prayer and otherwise). How can we each find grounding and nourishment, as well as space to tune into our emotions? We will begin with 15-20 minutes of singing, followed by text study and self-reflection.

Please have paper and pen/pencil ready for journaling. If you want, you can also have art supplies handy to aid your self-reflection.
