Messy creativity and homemade challah for the holiday: it’s the annual turning of flour, yeast and honey into a bite of heaven workshop!
Diane Colello will once again lead this hands-on class which you leave with 2 loaves of ready to bake challah and the skills to make more. People of all ages can happily participate, kneading and schmoozing and having a good time.
Pre-registration is imperative since Diane will be buying ingredients in advance.
The cost is $15 for WJC members and $18 for non-members. Two or three people may work together on a batch (2 loaves worth) and pay only a single fee.
Each participant, or partnership, will need to bring:
- a large mixing bowl
- a mixing spoon (wooden is best)
- a measuring cup
- 2 baking pans or cookie sheets
- 2 dish towels, to cover the loaves on the way home
