Chanukah Celebration

Join us for the Woodstock Jewish Congregation Chanukah Party
Sunday, December 9, 4-6pm
8th night of Chanukah – Let’s fill the room with candlelight!

Family-style Pot Luck dinner, with an emphasis on Latkes

BRING LATKES AND/OR A VEGETARIAN/DAIRY DISH TO SHARE. We will be able to warm the dishes at the synagogue, so make sure your dishes are oven-safe. WJC will provide the applesauce and sour cream…and donuts, too!

BRING YOUR FAVORITE CHANUKAH MENORAH for communal candle-lighting. If you don’t have a menorah, we have lots of extras to share.

BRING ONE OR MORE RECYCLED, INEXPENSIVE ITEMS FROM YOUR HOME that you are ready to give away for our GIFT GRAB-BAG. Please wrap the items, and note if they are age or gender-specific. Bring as many gifts as you would like, so that everyone who wants will be able to grab a gift on their way home.

BRING CHILDREN! We have great activities planned for the kids.

BRING YOUR VOICES for some great singing with Rabbi Jonathan!

If you can come early to help set up, or stay late to help clean up, please do – this entire event is being organized and run by your fellow WJC volunteers.

To volunteer please contact Holiday Committee Chairperson Diane Colello dianec@reelizations.com, 845 246 0929
