Maria Brenowitz made aliyah to Israel at age 17 from Russia, and lived in Israel the past 13 years. She is a fluent Hebrew speaker and writer. Maria now lives in Woodstock with her husband Lukas, their daughter Maya, and ecstatic grandparents Nathan Brenowitz and Laurie Schwartz.
