During the NYC mayoral election, Jews were at odds over Zohran Mamdani’s positions on Palestine and Israel. The award-winning documentary SCENES FROM THE DIVIDE invites viewers into the homes of Jewish New Yorkers and reveals a fierce battle over Jewish identity and responsibility. Susan Oberman of Common Ground Negotiation Services and The Bard Hannah Arendt Center will lead a facilitated dialogue and discussion on navigating political and social rifts in families, friend-ships and communities.
Please join us for an evening of enlightening film and respectful dialogue. Participants are asked to come with respect and willingness to listen and speak.
