Let Go, Open, Receive: A Havdalah Gathering

As part of our preparation to welcome rabbinic candidates in the coming weeks, you are invited to join Rabbi Noyo and the synagogue community in a havdalah ritual to mark this next stage of our transition year. Through the symbols and blessings of the havdalah ceremony, we will walk ourselves through four “gates”: the gate of spirit, the gate of variety, the gate of the future, and the gate of transition.

The evening will allow us to look back on the past with gratitude as we let it go, to open ourselves up to new possibilities, and to ready ourselves to receive the gifts of the rabbinic candidates with love.

Following the havdalah ceremony, you are invited to stay for a potluck dinner.
