Celebrated Black singer-songwriter and activist Reggie Harris and Rabbi Jonathan Kligler, accompanied by Robert Bard, perform their uplifting concert of Black and Jewish freedom songs. The Biblical story of the Exodus inspired the freedom struggles – and the music – of both the American Black and Jewish communities. During the 20th century, many in the Jewish community were central allies of the Black civil rights movement. Jonathan and Reggie keep that alliance alive and remind us that somehow, someday, we shall overcome.
