PURIM SERVICE AND MEGILLAH READING The eve of Purim falls this year on Wednesday, March 20. Join us for a laugh-filled service and our boisterous reading of the Megillah, the Scroll of Esther. Bring a joke, wear a costume, sing a song – and don’t forget your noisemaker! Refreshments afterward – and hamantashen for sale (benefiting the WJC.)

WJC PURIMSPIEL 2019 EDITION FEATURING KLEZMER BERL’S HOTSIE TOTSIE KLEZMER ORKESTER! This year will be an especially musical and participatory event, with the help of our local home-grown Klezmer band, Klezmer Berl’s Hotsie Totsie Klezmer Orkester. Bonnie Meadow has put together a wonderful spoof, with a cast of WJC folks including Rabbi Jonathan (in a very interesting costume…) The goal is fun! Refreshments afterward – and hamantashen for sale (benefiting the WJC.)

WJC PURIM CARNIVAL Especially for kids: games, activities, face-painting, snacks, singing and prizes. Don’t forget to wear a costume! Plus, a special reading by Yael Bernhard of her new and beautiful Purim-themed children’s book, Esther’s Gragger. (Books will be available for sale.) Join us!
