Yitzhak will give us an overview on current events and political trends in Israel and the surrounding region, followed by a free-ranging Q&A.

Yitzhak is the Founder and President of Keshet Educational Journeys and a pioneer in the field of educational tourism in Israel. He is an Israeli political analyst, educator and tour guide.

Join Keshet Israel Educator, Kayla Ship for a “non-exhaustive, non-methodological, partial survey of Israeli songs” highlighting the recent trends of spirituality and cultural diversity in Israeli mainstream music. We’ll listen to songs, with English translation of lyrics, to see how the lines between secular & religious music are being blurred and how Israeli society is embracing its various ethnic roots.

Kayla was born and raised in Boston. She received a BA in Anthropology and Religion from Dartmouth College and holds a Masters in Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School, where she concentrated on Scripture & Interpretation. Read more.

Step back with Daniel Ehrlich, Keshet’s Educational Director, 2,500 – 3,000 years to the days of King David and the First Temple. This learning session combines pre-recorded video guiding in the Old City of Jerusalem, music, Powerpoint with maps, texts and timelines with live narration and teaching followed by Q&A.

As a licensed Tour Guide and a pioneer in Jewish-Christian relations, Danny has served as Israel Tour Educator for a wide variety of Jewish and Christian groups, and has been a featured guest speaker at many churches and synagogues. Read more.
