On this Tisha B’Av we will come together to chant our personal and collective lamentations and sit with and honor “these things for which we weep.”
Led by Rabbi Karen and Cantor Raechel.
Our tradition offers guidance for both times of joy and times of heartbreak. On Tisha b’Av we harness the wisdom of our ancestors as we come together to face the rupture of walls, the crumbling of structures we mistook to be invulnerable. We join with community to grieve the loss and to tend to the aching of our own hearts.
Join us as we:
- Light Yartzeit candles and call in ancestors
- Sing niggunim and piyyutim of our lineage
- Write, sing, and listen to the lamentations of our community
