Klezmer Purim! The evening of Purim, we will be gathering to hear the words of the Megillah to the melodies of Klezmer Berl’s Hotsie Totsie Orkester. Come fulfill the mitzvah of hearing the Megillah!

Purim is coming! Join us in person (and in costume!) for a community-wide, family-friendly celebration. The Family School learners will perform a shpiel, there will be games and crafts, and we will be selling hamantaschen.

Join us to bring a Jewish voice to protecting our environment. Writing together, we will ask our state legislators to pass the Bird and Bees Protection Act banning the neurotoxic “neonic” pesticides.

Hosted by WJC Member Rebecca L. Horwitz, with Presenter Olesya Kotsyumbas and her children Yarema and Solomia of Kyiv, Ukraine. This will be a fundraiser for the work of the Krakow, Poland Jewish community with Ukrainian refugees.

Join Rabbis Linda Motzkin and Jonathan Rubenstein for an afternoon of Torah-making and bagel-baking. Rabbi Linda will lead us in stretching a deer hide on a frame as part of the process of making a panel of parchment for the Torah scroll she is writing. With Rabbi Jonathan we will mix the dough for bagels, boil them and bake them, share some and take some home.

Do you have a special occasion in February: a birthday, an anniversary, or any other reason to celebrate? Join Michele and Jerry Lerner for a festive brunch at their house. Michelle will make a delicious dairy brunch.

You are invited to join the synagogue community in a havdalah ritual to mark the next stage of our transition year, welcoming rabbinic candidates, with a framework for letting go, opening, and receiving. Havdalah will be followed by a potluck dinner.
